If you are using a window AC unit you will definitely need an AC port in your tent as they sit just outside of your tent blow the cold air through the Port.
If you plan on using a portable tent AC unit you will a tent that has an E-Port which is a small opening that allows a built-in extension cord to run from the inside of your tent to the outside.
