The best part about having a pop up tent is the fast and easy setup. When you start packing up, folding a pop up tent seems as easy as it was to put up but it can be a struggle. We will show exactly how to fold a pop up tent in 6 simple steps so you never struggle again.
1) Clean
Before packing away any tent away make sure it is clean! Majority of the time all you have to do is shake all dirt and debris out. At least once a year you should properly wash your tent out. Learn more about how to properly clean your tent.
2) Top Two Poles
Stand along the long side of the tent and grab the top two poles. Fold them together and grab them with one hand.
3) Side Poles
Notice the two other poles on the left and right of you. Grab one of them with your free hand and bring it up to the hand with two poles and grab it in the same hand so now you have 3 poles together. Do the same with the 4th pole.
4) Taco
Face the door opening down to the ground so it looks like a standing-up taco. While still holding all the poles in the middle with one hand.
5) Fold & Flatten
Grab the top part of the tent pointing at the air and bring it down to the floor. Folding it in and over the bottom part pushing it down to the ground.
6) Finish Fold
90% of the tent should now be flat on the ground with one part sticking up. Just fold that part down and over the rest so it’s now all flat.
